HILTON, NY (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Golf's Bethany Wineburg and Joshua Anstett swept the Empire 8 Player of the Week awards following standout performances that led the Golden Flyers to a team title at the Keuka Invitational, the conference announced Monday afternoon. 

Anstett collected Empire 8 Men's Golf Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after guiding Nazareth to the invitational victory while capturing his first individual event win. He finished five over par with a 77, highlighted by an even-par back nine. Anstett recorded an eagle on the sixth hole and added a birdie on the 12th to go along with nine pars in a strong all-around round.

He carried that momentum into the opening day of the St. John Fisher Invitational, where he finished tied for third with a four-over 76. Anstett's round featured two birdies on the back nine and 11 pars.

Wineburg earned Empire 8 Women's Golf Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after helping lead the Golden Flyers to the Keuka Invitational team title. She finished tied for first individually with a score of 90 (+18), highlighted by steady play that included pars on the final holes of both the front and back nines, along with another on hole 12.

Wineburg also competed at SUNY Cortland's Martin and Wallace Spring Invitational, where she recorded Nazareth's lone birdie on the par-5 fourth hole. She added four pars in an 86 (+14) round and finished 10th overall with a two-day total of 168 (+24).
