VICTOR, NY- Nazareth Men's Golf finished off the first day of the St. John Fisher Invitational competing against three tough opponents in Fisher, SUNY Oswego, and SUNY Canton at the Cobblestone Creek Country Club in Victor. The Golden Flyers finished day one placing in second with a team score of +27.
How it Happened:
- Junior Lincoln Crosby, along with Freshman Josh Anstett would have the best performance for the Golden Flyers as they each finished the day tied in third place. Both would come in with a score of four over par and a total score of 76. Crosby's day was highlighted with a birdie on the back nine on the 15th hole along with shooting 14 pars. Anstett himself would shoot two birdies in the back nine along his 11 pars.
- Senior Vincent Falgiatano finished his day tied in ninth place shooting nine over par with a total score of 81. Falgiatano would shoot six pars and record two birdies in each the front and back nine.
- Freshman Jaxstin Bingham finished his day in a four way tie for 12th place along with Freshman Jack Fesetch and Sophomore Charlie Calcagni. Each shot 10 over par and recorded a score of 82. Bingham and Calcagni each finished the front nine with a score of 43. Bingham would record two birdies. Fesetch finished the front nine shooting a score of 41 along with a birdie.
- Freshman Todd Wilson finished the day placing in 19th. Wilson finished with a total score of 87 and shooting +15 over par. Wilson's day was highlighted with a birdie on the sixth hole along with shooting for par four times.
- Sophomore Justin Krause finished the day placing 20th. He would shoot 16+ over par with a total score of 88. Krause would shoot even at par five times and recorded a birdie on the 16th hole.
- Freshman Ellis Griffin finished his day placing 27th. He shot +27 over par with a total score of 99. His day was highlighted with a birdie on hole one.

The Golden Flyers will be back in action Monday April 13 to finish off the St. John Fisher Invitational at Cobblestone Creek Country Club in Victor. Nazareth looks to overcome St. John Fisher who leads the tournament with a score of +19 over par.
