Men’s Track and Field Earns Nine USTFCCCA Indoor All-Region Honors

ROCHESTER, NY (nazathletics.com) - On Wednesday March 11, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the All-Region honorees for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season.

The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end earned All-Region distinction, in addition with each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. On the men's side nine Nazareth track and field athletes were recognized for this award, highlighting a strong indoor season for the Golden Flyers across sprint, field, and multi-event disciplines.

Nazareth's 4x400 meter relay of Jack Healy, Nick Driver, Gavin McAllister, and Michael Puglisi earned All-Region honors after running 3:21.71, a time that ranks third all-time in Nazareth indoor program history. The mark places the quartet among the fastest relay groups the program has produced.

In the throws, Graeden Heichberger delivered one of the top seasons in program history to earn All-Region honors. His 18.66m (61' 2 ¾") throw ranks second all-time at Nazareth in the weight throw, while teammate and All-Region honoree David Dobrowolski sits third all-time in the event with a mark of 18.59m (61' 0"). Dobrowolski also appears on the program's shot put top-10 list, ranking fifth all-time.

Nazareth also saw strong performances in the multi-events, where seniors Jack Pomykaj and Aaron Lund both earned All-Region honors in the heptathlon. Pomykaj recorded 4,740 points, which currently stands as the No. 1 performance in Nazareth indoor program history, while Lund's season-best 4,469 points ranks second all-time. The pair consistently scored across all seven events within sprints, jumps, throws, and pole vault.

Puglisi also earned individual All-Region recognition in the 400 meters, in addition to his role on the All-Region 4x400 relay team. Puglisi's performances throughout the season placed him among the fastest 400-meter runners in the region and made him a key contributor to Nazareth's sprint squad, his season-best 49.38 currently ranks fourth on the Nazareth indoor all-time list.
