UTICA, NY - The Nazareth Women's Track and Field team traveled to Utica on Saturday for the 2nd day of the Utica Blue & Orange Invitational. Many regional qualifying goal times were met along with many strong performances across the board. 

How It Happened:

• Mariah LeGrow, had a stellar performance qualifying for regionals in the 800 meter run with a time 2:22.62 placing 4th overall 
• Another regional qualification occurred in the invite 200m run with Alexis Lasher crossing the line at 26.38 taking 5th place overall 
• Alaina Morley competed in the 60m finials and raced to 3rd place with a time of 7.98 
• Seniors Isabel Morse and Kiara Tornisciolo took 6th and 7th place overall in the invite pole vault event 
  • (6th) Morse 3.61m (11-10 ft) 
  • (7th) Tornisciolo 3.61m (11-10 ft) 

Meet Notes:

• The women's 4X400 team consisting of Alexis Lasher, Amber Hayes, Jordan Wagner and Ava Baker, placed 4th with a time of 4:11.01, Baker had a PR split of 62 
• Kaitlyn Burt took 3rd place in the 400m open event improving her PR to 1:05.33

• Up next the Nazareth Golden Flyers will be hosting the Division lll Elite meet in the Gollisano Training Center on 2/13 and 2/14.
