ROCHESTER, N.Y. Nazareth hosted the Conference Challenge Cup on Saturday with the women's track and field team earning a 3rd place finish. Many great performances occurred, including a strong showing from the 4 x 200 relay behind Alexis Lasher, Alaina Morley, Jasmine Kendrick and Samantha Luba.
HOW IT HAPPENED

The 4x200 team of Lasher, Morley, Kendrick, and Luba raced to a victory with a time of 1:47.27, winning by over four seconds. This is the second fastest time in school history.

In the 60m Hurdles two Golden Flyers made their way to the finals and took 3r and 4th place. Amber Hayes finished at 9.26 and Luba soon after at 9.43.

The Nazareth team completely dominated the pole vault event and secured 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th places.

The 4x400 team including Kelsey Fahy, Ava Baker, Ella Impaglia and Mallory Rice crossed the line in 5th place obtaining a time of 4:16.91.

Kiara Tornusciolo earned herself a personal best in pole vault and moved to 2nd place on the Nazareth top Ten List

Amber Hayes had another great night securing two new personal bests, in the 60m hurdles she ran a 9.27 and gained her second PB on the 200 with a time of 27.34

Nazareth will return to action this Friday 2/6 and Saturday 2/7 traveling to Utica for their 2 day meet. The start time for both days is 10 a.m.
