Results

ROCHESTER, NY - The Nazareth men's track and field team competed in its first meet of the spring semester on Friday night at RIT.  Strong performances occurred across many events, including the weight throw and several racing events. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED 

• David Dobrowolski threw 58 -9 ¼, landing him a 2nd place finish overall in the weight throw. Graeden Heichberger finished 3rd with a throw of 53-1 ½ 
•  Nicholas Driver and Michael Puglisi acquired 3rd and 4th place in the 400-meter dash with times of 51.43 and 51.49. 
• The Nazareth distance crew took over the 1k race with lead runner, Gavin McAllister running a 2.39.87 for fourth place. Cameron Almy was sixth (2:41.11) and Kaedan Leonidas 7^th (2:42.27)
• The 4x400 relay team including Aaron Lund, McAllister, Benjamin Brewer and Puglisi had a strong race finishing 3rd with a time of 3.38.37.

MEET NOTES 

•  Leonidas earns himself a place on the 1000m Nazareth's all0time top ten list and also the mile list after his great performances at RIT. 
•  Almy also puts himself on the 1000 top ten list
• The "B" team representing Nazareth in the 4x400 had a successful race finishing 4th, the team included, Jack Pomykaj, Jack Healy, Evan Laurenzo and Driver anchoring. 

UP NEXT 
The team will prepare this week for the upcoming meet on Saturday 1/31 as the Golisano Training Center will host the Nazareth Conference Challenge Cup.
