ONEONTA, NY -  Freshman Samuel Burton helps lift Nazareth past Hartwick with an early second half goal in their first Empire 8 matchup of the season

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nazareth goaltender Bryan Tirado stood tall as Hartwick outshot Nazareth 6-1 in the first half

• Nazareth began the second half strong, generating opportunities

• A goal from freshman Samuel Burton in the 48th minute off an assist from Paul Petti gave Nazareth the lead

• Due to the strong Golden Flyers defense, they were able to shut down the Hartwick attack to secure the win
