ROCHESTER, NY – Graduate student Katie Jacques was honored as the Empire 8 Field Athlete of the Week on Monday after her strong performance at the Cardinal Last Chance Meet on Sunday.

Jacques set a personal best with a jump of 11.51 meters (37' 9 ¼") to take first place in the triple jump. That mark puts her ranked 50^th in the country.
