Empire 8 All Conference Honorees

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Empire 8 All Conference selections for men's golf were announced on Thursday and five Golden Flyers earned honors, headlined by Lincoln Crosby as Empire 8's Player of the Year and first team honoree.

Crosby claimed the individual title at the Empire 8 Championships following round 4 at Lebanon Country Club on April 19th. Heading into the Championship, Crosby was tied for first at +11 over three rounds. The junior shot the low round of the day by four shots, with a 75 (+3), including going -2 in the front nine. Across the four rounds, Crosby shot a 302 (+14) and was the only Empire 8 golfer with four rounds in the 70s. Crosby is Nazareth's first Empire 8 Player of the Year since the 2003-04 season.


Anthony Falgiatano and Charlie Calcagni were named to the second team following impressive seasons. A. Falgiatano finished the tournament tied for seventh with a four-round total of 322 (+34). Calcagni finished just one stroke behind in eighth with a four round score of 323 (+35).

Vincent Falgiatano was named to Empire 8's third team after finishing the championships with a total score of 328 (+40). 

In addition, Lucas Kielon was Nazareth's representative on the Sportsperson of the Year team. One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2024-25 Empire 8 Men's Golf Sportsperson of the Year Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportspeople.
