HILTON, N.Y. (nazathletics.com) - Lauren Bachner, Amy Laskowski and Hannah Kolakowski represented Nazareth in this week's Empire 8 honors, the conference announced Monday morning. 

Field Hockey's Lauren Bachner earned her third Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week nod after she recorded her eighth shutout of the year in the team's 5-0 E8 quarterfinal win over Brockport. In two games last week, Bachner totaled two winning decisions and nine saves on 10 shots faced. The senior ranks first in the Empire 8 with a .850 saves percentage. 

Women's Hockey sophomore Amy Laskowski picked up UCHC and Empire 8 Player of the Week honors after she tallied six points on three goals and three assists in the team's first two games. The Illinois-native registered one goal and two assists on seven shots in 4-0 shutout of Rivier Friday before posting two goals and one assist on seven shots in a 5-1 win over Anna Maria Saturday. 

Women's Swimming and Diving freshman Hannah Kolakowski notched back-to-back Diver of the Week distinctions to open her collegiate career. Kolakowski won both the 1 and 3-meter dives at the Hartwick Tri Meet Saturday with scores of 243.90 and 228.45, respectively. The freshman has won all four diving events she has competed to start the 2025-26 season.
