All-Tournament Team
ROCHESTER, NY – Nazareth senior Alice O'Connor and first-year Giuliana Rodriguez were named to the Empire 8 Women's Soccer All‑Tournament Team as announced on Wednesday.
The third seeded Golden Flyers made it to the Empire 8 semifinals, falling 2‑0 to St. John Fisher, who went on to claim the conference title.
O'Connor and Rodriguez earned were both making an appearance on the Empire 8 All‑Tournament Team for the first time.
O'Connor capped off her Nazareth career with an All‑Tournament Team selection, as she anchored a strong Golden Flyer defense throughout postseason play. She helped lead Nazareth to a shutout victory over a strong Geneseo squad in the quarterfinals before the semifinal loss to No. 2 seed St. John Fisher.
Rodriguez made an immediate impact in her debut season as a Golden Flyer. She scored two goals on five shots in the quarterfinal win over Geneseo, which provided the offensive spark that propelled Nazareth into the semifinals.
