All-District Teams
ROCHESTER, NY – Four members of the Nazareth women's soccer team,
Tatum Overton,
Alice O'Connor,
Taylor Ashe, and
Shannon Sgombick have been named to the Academic All-District team that was released by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday, a recognition for the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Overton, who holds a 3.9 GPA in Business Leadership, is making her third-straight all-district team. The senior finished out her illustrious career with seven goals and two assists in 2025.
O'Connor is making her second appearance on the all-district team after starting 18 games on defense and adding three assists. She holds a 4.0 GPA in Physical Therapy.
Ashe and Sgombick are first time honorees for the academic all-district teams with Ashe holding a 3.88 in Nursing and Sgombick a 3.74 in Early Childhood Education and Sociology. Ashe started all 19 games at midfield in 2025, registering one goal and two assists. Sgombick netted six goals and one assist in 17 starts at forward.
