All-Tournament Team

HILTON, N.Y. (nazathletics.com) - Three Nazareth Field Hockey student-athletes landed spots on the Empire 8 Championship All-Tournament Team, the conference announced Wednesday morning. 

Lauren Bachner, Isabel Porterfield and Juliana Dimao earned All-Tournament selections after the Golden Flyers made their first trip to the E8 final since 2019 last Saturday. 

Bachner tallied 32 saves on 43 shots faced in three postseason games for Nazareth, registering a .856 save percentage in the championship tournament. The senior recorded her seventh shutout of the season in the Golden Flyer's 5-0 quarterfinal win over SUNY Brockport, stopping eight shots for a perfect 1.000 save percentage. 

Porterfield led the Nazareth offense with 10 points on four goals and two assists in three postseason contests. The junior posted a career-best six points on two goals and two assists in the Golden Flyers quarterfinal victory against Brockport. Porterfield followed up her career performance by scoring both the game-tying and game-winning goals in Nazareth's overtime semifinal win at Hartwick. 

Dimao rounds out the Golden Flyers All-Tournament honorees after netting an impressive penalty-corner score in Nazareth's quarterfinal win over Brockport. The freshman put pressure on opposing offenses throughout the championship, totaling nine shots with six coming on goal.
