All-Conference Teams
ROCHESTER, NY - On Tuesday, the Empire 8 conference announced the2025 All-Conference team honorees, with
Tatum Overton,
Shannon Sgombick,
Helena Reihs,
Taylor Ashe, and
Alice O'Connor all representing the Golden Flyers. In addition,
Delaney Malone was Nazareth's representative on the Tomorrow's Leaders team.
Overton earned a nod on the First Team for the fourth-straight year. The 2023 Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Year had another impressive season in Empire 8 play, scoring six goals and adding an assist for 13 points in 11 games. Her 30 career goals rank 7th all time in Nazareth history.
Sgombick and freshman defender Reihs earned second team selections. Sgombick had a breakout season offensively, scoring six goals which ranked second on the team, with four of those coming in Empire 8 play. This marks her second Empire 8 all-conference appearance, earning third-team honors last season.
Reihs earned her first All-Conference selection after an impressive freshman season. She started 17 of 18 games as a defender, contributing a goal and an assist while helping anchor the Golden Flyers' strong defense that allowed just six goals in conference play.
O'Connor and Ashe rounded out Nazareth's selections, earning third team honors. O'Connor started 17 games, recorded three assists, and served as a key leader for the team both on and off the field. This marks O'Connor's first appearance on the Empire 8 all-conference team.
Ashe played a key role in her second season as a Golden Flyer, starting all 18 games. Ashe recorded a goal and an assist in 11 conference games. This is her second appearance on the Empire 8 third team, earning those honors last season as well.
Malone is Nazareth's Representative on the Tomorrow's Leaders Team. One player from each team was named to represent their team on the 2025 Empire 8 Women's Soccer Tomorrow's Leaders Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as a leader.
