All-Conference Teams
ROCHESTER, NY – Tuesday's Empire 8 All-Conference announcements recognized five Golden Flyers for their outstanding seasons, highlighted by
Samuel Burton who received Rookie of the Year honors.
Tyler Warmington,
Quentin Herrmann, and
Alexander Kobayashi also earned All-Conference honors for Nazareth, while
Joey Weaver was recognized on the Tomorrow's Leaders team.
Three Golden Flyers earned second team honors, including Burton, Warmington, and Herrmann. Burton had a stellar rookie season, becoming the first Rookie of the Year for Nazareth since 2020-21. Burton started all 17 games, leading the team in points with 13 and tied for the lead in goals with five. 11 out of his 13 points came in Empire 8 play.
Warmington emerged as a key offensive threat, matching the team lead with five goals. Four of those goals came in Empire 8 play, including two game-winners. Warmington also started 13 games, nearly doubling his total from last season. This marks his first appearance on the Empire 8 All-conference team.
Herrmann was a strong leader from his defensive position this season, starting all 17 games for the Golden Flyers, recording one assist. His 68 games played is tied for the most in program history. This is Herrman's second all-conference selection, as he earned third-team honors last season.
Kobayashi earned third team honors in his first season for the Golden Flyers. He started all 17 games as a defender alongside seniors
Quentin Herrmann and
Sam Romanosky. He ranked fourth in the conference with five Empire 8 assists and totaled eight points for the season, good for fifth on the team.
Weaver is Nazareth's representative on the Tomorrow's Leaders team. One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2025 Empire 8 Men's Soccer the Tomorrow's Leaders Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportsmen.
