ROCHESTER, NY - In just its seventh season of intercollegiate play, second-seeded Nazareth defeated top-seed Springfield in four sets, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 25-22 on April 16, 2011 to win the Molten Division III Men's Volleyball Championship at Kidera Gymnasium. A crowd of over 1,000 fans witnessed the victory.
Senior outside hitter Hans Schroeder was named the Most Valuable Player after tallying a team-high 15 kills in the title match and 18 in the semifinal win over Carthage.
Billy Gimello (13 kills, 13 digs) and EJ Wells-Spicer (53 assists) were also named all-tournament
