ROCHESTER, NY - Nazareth hosted the 2013 NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championships, a tournament where #2 Nazareth advanced to the finals, eventually falling in three sets to #1 Springfield, 25-18, 25-13, 25-22.

Nazareth defeated #3 UC Santa Cruz 25-16, 27-25, 25-22 in the quarterfinals, before dropping #15 Rivier 26-24, 25-19, 25-20 in the semifinals.

In the final against Springfield, senior setter EJ Wells-Spicer recorded 18 assists to break the Golden Flyers all-time assist mark with 4,762.Â
Nazareth finished the season 36-2 — the 36 wins remains the most-ever in program history.
Luke Lawatsch led Nazareth with eight kills.Â
