Box Score ROCHESTER, NY – The Nazareth men's lacrosse team gave a valiant effort in the opening half but was limited to just one goal in the second as the Golden Flyers fell 9-4 to #14 St. Lawrence on Saturday at NLPA Field.

The Golden Flyers fall to 3-3 on the year, while the Saints move to 6-0.
 
Nazareth was hampered at the faceoff x all day, losing 12 of 16 for a big disadvantage. 
 
St. Lawrence improves to 6-0 on the season with the win. The Saints also have wins over Rhodes, Potsdam, Western New England, St. John Fisher and Geneseo this season. 
 
William O'Neill scored the first goal of the game from Quinn Conroy.
 
After two Saints goals, O'Neill netted his second of the game to tie the score at 2-2.
 
Conroy gave the Golden Flyers a 3-2 lead midway through the second, but St. Lawrence evened the game at 3 heading into halftime.
 
It was all Saints in the second half as they scored two goals in the third and four in the fourth to pull away.
 
It took the Golden Flyers over 20 minutes to score in the second half, as Louis Cogliandro eventually stopped the bleeding from the visitors. 
 
For the game, St. Lawrence was 1-6 on the extra man and the Golden Flyers were 0-4.
 
McLean Ralston made 10 saves in net for Nazareth in the loss. 
 
Nazareth returns to action on Wednesday, hosting Brockport at 4 pm.
