CLERMONT, FL – In the final two games of the annual Spring Training Trip to Florida, the Nazareth University Softball team dropped a pair of games to North Country teams at the Legends Way Complex.

In the second game of the day and the final game of the trip, Nazareth took an early lead with a pair of runs in the top of the first inning. Sophomore Maddie Klein walked to start the game and took second on a sacrifice bunt. She scored as Russo smashed a ball that bounced over the outfield fence for a ground rule double.
