Nazareth College Athletics

Psychology major with concentration in Childhood Education... daughter of Greg and Laura Pum, Rochester, N.Y... returns for her fourth season after appearing in 29 games and starting 28 as a junior … finished fourth on the team with 30 hits and was fifth with a .316 batting average … added two doubles, 12 runs batted in, five sacrifice hits and was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts … recorded three hits (3-for-4) against Houghton and was 3-for-3 in game one against Elmira … had a pair of hits in each game including a double in the Buffalo State doubleheader … had a pair of RBI against Emerson in Florida, Houghton and Keuka … earned the Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year distinction and earned academic awards as a CSC Academic All-District and NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete.

2022: appeared in and started 35 games in 2022 with most of her starts coming at second base … Started games at third base, designated hitter and second base before starting 17 of the final 18 games of the season at second … finished the season 21-for-102 (.206) at the plate with a double and six runs batted in … was 3-for-6 with two walks and two runs in the doubleheader with Buffalo State … selected to the Empire 8 President’s list in the fall for student-athletes with at least a 3.75 grade point average … named to the NFCA National All-Academic team.

2021: returning for her second season, Pum started all 21 games for the Golden Flyers in 2021, splitting time between second base and shortstop... finished among the team's top hitters with a .338 batting average on 22 hits in 65 at bats... had three doubles and 10 runs batted in... went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and three runs batted in vs. Houghton on 4/13/21... went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs batted in and a run scored at Utica on 4/17/21... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Conference Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above for the fall 2021 semester.

Scholastic: a graduate of Greece Arcadia High School, Pum played six seasons of varsity softball and was a four-time Monroe County League all-star as an infielder... served as team captain for three seasons... competed for UNY Revolution, Pinnacle Athletics and Rochester Lady Lions club teams... recipient of Greece PYA Scholarship award.
