All-Conference Teams
ROCHESTER, NY – Five members of the Nazareth women's cross country team were Empire 8 All-Conference selections as announced on Monday. Junior
Ella Impaglia was the lone representative on the second team, while
Paige Ackley,
Kennedy Doran,
Kelsey Fahy, and
Meghan Moyer were third team honorees. In addition, Fahy was Nazareth's representative on the 2024 Women's Cross Country Sportswoman of the Year Team.
The Empire 8 first, second and third team all-conference selections were determined at the championship meet on Nov. 2 from Field of Dreams Park, hosted by Houghton University.
The Golden Flyers took second at the Empire 8 Championships. Impaglia was 13
th place over the 6k course at Houghton. Fahy (23:13.5) was 19
th, followed by Doran (23:14.7) in 20
th. Moyer was 23
rd (23:23.7) and Ackley 25
th (23:26.2).
One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2024 Women's Cross Country Sportswoman of the Year Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. Fahy and the other honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen.
