ROCHESTER, NY – Despite the home-pool advantage, the Nazareth University men's swimming and diving team was unable to total enough points against Alfred State College in the Saturday afternoon meet.
The Golden Flyers dropped the meet 132-77.
The 100-meter butterfly was the only event the men were able to put together a 1-2 finish for an event. Senior
William Danaher won the event with a 1:04.55, while junior teammate
Alexander Baxter finished in second place with a final time of 1:15.96.
Sophomore
Gianluca Antonini finished first in the 800-meter freestyle with a final time of 10:15.42.
Senior
Adam DelGrand won the 200-meter freestyle by over four seconds with a time of 2:10.25.
For diving, freshman
Will D'Agata's final score of 212.10 for the 1-meter dive placed him in second.
The Golden Flyers next compete at home on Saturday (11/2) at 1 p.m. against Hartwick College.
