NEW ORLEANS, LA – Graduate student Brenna Johnson led a group of seven Nazareth Track and Field athletes to All-Region honors with a pair of selections as the awards were announced Friday following the conclusion of the All-Atlantic Regional Championship meet.
Johnson earned All-Region honors in both the 100-meter dash and the long jump for the Golden Flyers. She was joined by senior Kaleb Luton (110-meter hurdles), senior Emily Weaver (3K steeplechase), junior Isabella Heath (triple jump), junior Lea Richard (hammer throw), sophomore Cade Eells (3K steeplechase) and freshman Isabel Morse (pole vault).
To earn All-Region honors from the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the athletes need to place in the top-5 in individual events and top-3 in relays.
The Men's and Women's Track and Field squads capped the season with each winning Empire 8 Championships in both the Indoor and Outdoor seasons.
