LEWISBURG, PA – Senior Nathan Bowers shattered his own school record in the 5,000 on Saturday at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, clocking a 14.:51.19 to finish in 70th place. Bowers previous personal best was 15:08.37 set in 2022 at the same meet.
 
Junior Lilianna Hanning also had a strong performance, running 18:17.59 for 78^th place in the 5,000 which is third fastest time in school history.
 
Earlier in the day, Matt Reimann had a good showing in the 5,000, clocking a 15.22.25 to take 20^th out of 57 runners. That was a personal best time as well.
 
Patrick Healy was 43^rd in the 1,500 in a time of 4:02.72, a time nearly five seconds faster than his previous outdoor PR.
 
Emily Weaver competed in the steeplechase, finishing in 45^th place in a time of 11:49.97.
