ITHACA, NY– Seniors Alexa Rizzo and Elizabeth Tripp finished in 3rd and 5th, respectively, in the 1-meter dive to kick off the 12th Annual Ithaca College Bomber Invite Friday evening.
 
Rizzo finished with a 473.10 while fellow senior Tripp tallied a 454.85 in the 1-meter dive to lead Nazareth in 6th with 116 total points in the first day of competition. 
 
Junior Caroline Coleman placed 23rd (5:23.65) while freshman Allison Putnam placed 25th (5:28.62) in the 500-yard freestyle. Coleman improved her time from 5:33.23 versus Alfred on October 14. Putnam also beat her individual time this season of 5:44.32 on November.
 
Coleman and her teammates Isabella Jaskowski, Julie Filipski, and Grace Cioffi placed 8th (1:54.83) in the 200-yard medley relay. Filipski also placed 17th in the 200-yard IM
(2:14.76) in the invitational. 
 
Nazareth returns back to action for day 2 on Saturday December 2 at 10 a.m.
