ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Host Nazareth regained its winning form Saturday as the Golden Flyers used a dominant second half to pull away for a 72-57 men's basketball victory over Keuka
in a game played on Mike Daley Court at the Kidera Gymnasium.
Nazareth, ranked 23

th game – and its second win over Keuka -- to improve to 20-3 overall and 12-2 in the Empire 8. The Golden Flyers have a pair of Empire 8 regular-season road games remaining. They visit Alfred Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Houghton Saturday at 2 p.m. The Golden Flyers are in second place in the E8 standings -- behind Utica, a 72-46 winner over St. John Fisher Saturday -- and have already clinched a spot in the five-team Empire 8 Conference Tournament, scheduled for Feb. 25-26.

Kevin Underwood.
Jonathan Park led Nazareth by recording a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds.
Brendan Broderick posted a career-high 15 points by nailing five three-point baskets and
Zach Stenglein added 12 points and became the 28
th Nazareth player to reach 1,000 points in career scoring. His final stat line included two three-pointers and eight assists.
Brendan Broderick hit three three-pointers in the first half to lead Nazareth, but the game was tied 34-34 at halftime after the Golden Flyers led by as many as six points on four separate occasions.
The second half started with a 19-3 scoring run that stretched eight minutes and made the score 53-37 in Nazareth's favor. The run included another three-point basket by Broderick. Nazareth went on to outscore Keuka 38-23 in the second half.
Nazareth won despite shooting just 36 percent from the field (27-for-75) and 30 percent (12-for-40) from three-point range.
