Nazareth College Athletics

Communication and Media major... son of John and Denise Park, Angola, N.Y... returning for a fifth season, Park was named to the US Basketball Writers Association All-Area team as well as a Third Team All-Empire 8 selection after helping the team to the Empire 8 Title and the NCAA Tournament ... he averaged a double-double with a team-leading 10.0 rebounds per game total and 11.4 points per contest that ranked fourth on the team ... he finished with 320 points, 281 rebounds and 12 double-doubles including three of the final five games of the season ... he scored a career-high 23 points with 11-for-11 shooting at Hartwick and had a career-best 22 rebounds in the season opener against Buffalo State ... he was named the Empire 8 Player of the Week for the weeken ending Jan. 10.

2020-21: Park appeared in all 12 games for the Golden Flyers during the pandemic-shortened 2021 season, including nine as a starter... averaged 9.2 points and a team-best 6.8 rebounds per game... also led the team with 18 blocks (1.5 per game) and shot 52.5 percent (53-for-101) from the field... had three double-doubles (points-rebounds) and scored in double digits six times... named as a third-team Empire 8 Conference all-star.

2019-20: Park emerged a strong front-court player for the Golden Flyers in 2019-20 as he appeared in all 27 games, including 10 as a starting center... averaged 10.8 points per game and led the Empire 8 Conference in rebounding (9.9 per game), blocked shots with 58 (2.1 per game) and field goal percentage (131-for-221, 59.3 percent)... honored as a second-team E8 all-star and an honorable mention selection to the Rochester Area Colleges all-star team that was selected by the United States Basketball Writers Association... twice named E8 Player of the Week -- for 12/16/19 and 2/3/20... posted 10 double-doubles and scored a career-high 22 points (on 10-for-13 shooting) in a victory over Alfred State on 12/14/19... grabbed a career-high 21 rebounds (and added 14 points) in a 91-72 win at Cazenovia on 1/7/20... had 16 points and 15 rebounds, including the game-winning basket in the closing seconds of a 75-73 home-court win over St. John Fisher on 1/28/20.

2018-19: Park played in 14 games for the Golden Flyers in 2018-19... scored 14 points and grabbed 16 rebounds with four blocked shots... had five rebounds at Houghton on 1/5/19.

Scholastic: a graduate of Lakeshore High School, Park competed in soccer, basketball and track there... an honorable mention all-state selection in Class A for basketball.
