ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Freshman Tessa Grover combined match highs in kills (10), assists (16) and service aces (5) Thursday as Nazareth breezed to a three-set women's volleyball victory over Hilbert. Scores were 25-14, 25-14, 25-21.

Nazareth won for the second straight night as the Golden Flyers also defeated Keuka Wednesday in four sets and now stand at 7-6 overall. Hilbert is 0-8.

The Golden Flyers posted an efficient .204 hitting percentage (38-18-98), while limiting the Hawks to just 13 kills. Nazareth also served up 14 aces overall.

Grover had five of her kills in the opening set. Then sophomore Catie Spegar and freshman Ruth Jackson each had four kills in the second set.

All five of Grover's service aces came in set number three. She also added three more kills as did senior Olivia Quick and junior Eva Lyko.

Nazareth is idle until Oct. 8 when the Golden Flyers travel to Lycoming for a two-day tournament in Pennsylvania.
