BALDWINSVILLE, NY – Junior Jake Costa and senior Jake Adams finished strong with scores in the 80's on the second day of competition at the Empire 8 Tournament Sunday at the Timber Banks Country Club.

Costa finished with an 82 Sunday and a two-day total of 166 to finish 11th overall and lead the Golden Flyers to a fourth place finish.

Utica College won the tournament with a team score of 634 (+58) and St. John Fisher was second at +66, 342. SUNY Oswego took third (+96, 672) and Nazareth finished fourth with a team score of +123, 699. Elmira (+165, 741) and Russell Sage (+182, 758) rounded out the scoring.

Adams shaved 10 strokes off his first day score and shot an 83 Sunday to finish 21st. Freshman Thomas McIntosh was third for Nazareth with a 177 (22nd place) and senior Stephen Gabel was next at 187 (26th) while JT Entelisano was one stroke back at 188 (27th).
