ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Visiting Hartwick held Nazareth to just 17 points in the second half Friday as the Hawks handed the Golden Flyers their third straight women's basketball defeat, 69-51, at the Mike Daley Court at the Kidera Gymnasium.

Hartwick improved to 10-7 overall and 4-2 in conference action. Nazareth dropped to 10-6 overall and 2-3 in the Empire. The Golden Flyers also lost games last weekend at Sage and Utica.

Nazareth trailed for most of the first half and was down by nine before Kim Davis nailed a three-pointer before the halftime horn sounded to trim the intermission lead to 40-34.

The Golden Flyers' comeback hopes were erased in the second half as they were outscored 29-17 over the final 20 minutes as Hartwick gradually pulled away. The managed just seven points  on 3-for-14 shooting in the fourth quarter with three of those points coming on a three-pointer by Demetria Woodard just before the final horn sounded.

David finished with nine points and Jadyn Abrams scored eight for the Golden Flyers, who host Elmira Saturday at 4 p.m.
