Nazareth sweeps Hilbert

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Host Nazareth dominated Hilbert in men's volleyball Tuesday as the second-ranked Golden Flyers won in three sets to run their winning streak to seven matches. Scores were 25-11, 25-19, 25-14.

Nazareth improved to 16-3 overall and 5-0 in the United Volleyball Conference. Hilbert dropped to 1-13 overall and 0-4 in the UVC.

Junior Dan Miranda combined eight kills with two service aces and three blocks. Senior Will Siwy contributed six kills in seven attack attempts and sophomore setter Connor Ecklund had 18 assists. RJ Sykora had eight kills for the Hawks.

The Golden Flyers are off this weekend, but are back home Wednesday for their final regular-season home match against Elmira at 7 p.m.
