ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The heavy snow that has fallen in the Rochester area has forced postponement of Saturday's men's lacrosse game against Springfield. The game has been tentatively rescheduled for Sunday at Nazareth's artificial turf field at 1 p.m. The game can be followed on Live Stats.

This weekend's Empire 8 Conference basketball tournament at St. John Fisher will be played as scheduled. Nazareth, seeded third with an overall record of 16-9, will play second-seeded Ithaca (18-7) Friday at 8 p.m. Top-seeded St. John Fisher (21-4) will play fourth-seeded Stevens (18-7) at 6.

The championship game is Saturday at 5 p.m.

All games will be broadcast on local radio station WYSL (AM-1040 and FM-92.1) and will be available online at www.wysl1040.com. In addition, each game will be accessible via web cast and can be followed through Live Stats.

Tickets for Friday's doubleheader and Saturday's championship game are $4 for general admission (children under 12 are free) and $2 for college students.
