UCHC All-Conference
ROCHESTER, NY - The Nazareth women's hockey team was well honored on the UCHC All‑Conference list as the league announced on Wednesday. Sophomore Amy Laskowski led Nazareth's honors, repeating as Player of the Year and earning a First Team nod. She was joined on the First Team by fellow sophomore Brooke Judkiewicz and freshman defender Ella Konrad, who also received All‑Rookie Team honors. The Golden Flyers' defense core was further recognized with Allie Zack and Ave Meteyer earning Second Team honors. Meredith Boettcher, Nikki Sharp, and goaltender Mia Gonsalves were named to the Third Team, while freshman Mia Abruzzese joined Konrad on the All‑Rookie Team. Rounding out the accolades, Chris Baudo was honored as Coach of the Year.
Laskowski improved off her tremendous freshman season, earning Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors. Laskowski led the UCHC in all three major categories, recording 25 goals, and 24 assists, for 49 points. She has set the single season goals and points mark for Nazareth this season. Her dominance over the UCHC continued in other categories, ranking 1st in goals per game (.96), power play goals (8), shots on goal (136), and game-winning goals (6). In all of Division lll, she ranks 3rd in goals, 7th in assists, and 5th in points. Last season, she earned Co-Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year Honors.
Judkiewicz built off her strong play last season, recording 10 more points than last year, earning First Team All-Conference recognition. She nearly doubled her assist total, registering 21 to rank 2nd behind Laskowski in the UCHC and 12th in Division lll. Her 31 points also ranked 3rd in the UCHC and 25th in all of Division lll. As a center, her defensive game was strong as she was 49.5% in the faceoff circle (3rd) and was a +29 (3rd). Last season, Judkiewicz earned Second Team All-Conference and First Team All-Rookie.
Konrad had a strong rookie campaign on the blue line for Nazareth, being named First Team All-Conference and to the All-Rookie Team. In 26 games, she recorded 3 goals, 17 assists (5th in UCHC) for 20 points (11th). Konrad was also very good defensively, posting a +27 (5th).
Sophomore Meteyer registered the same stat line as Konrad (3G, 17A) to earn a Second Team All-Conference selection. Meteyer was a big part in Nazareth allowing just 28 goals all season as she was a +24 (9th). She nearly tripled her freshman year point total of 7, which helped her earn First Team All-Rookie in 2024-25.
Zack continued her fantastic play for the Golden Flyers, earning Second Team All-Conference alongside Meteyer. This season she has 5 goals and 8 assists for 13 points. She led the conference in plus/minus (+38) and was also 5th in shots on goal (107), and 10th in power play goals (3). Last season, Zack took home Defensive Player of the Year and Second Team All-UCHC honors. In her freshman year, she was named to the All-Rookie Team.
Boettcher had her best season yet as a Golden Flyer, earning a Third Team All-Conference selection. She recorded 17 goals, which ranked 13th in the UCHC and 19th in all of Division lll. On top of the goal scoring, she registered 13 assists (7th), 30 points (4th), 6 power play goals (2nd), and 4 game-winning goals (4th). Her lone UCHC selection previous to this one came in her freshman year, as she was named to the UCHC All-Rookie Team.
Sharp earns her first UCHC All-Conference selection, joining Boettcher on the Third Team. She had her most productive season, tallying points 17 out of 26 games for 8 goals (16th), 21 assists (3rd), for 29 points (6th).
As a freshman, Gonsalves took over in net for the Golden Flyers, starting 24 of 26 games to earn Third Team All-Conference Honors. She led the entire Division lll with 23 victories, for a .979 winning percentage. Gonsalves was also 8th in goals against average, posting a 1.18 and had a save percentage of .927. On top of that, she also ranked 14th in shutouts with 4.
Abruzzese had a very solid rookie season, earning a spot next to Konrad on the UCHC All-Rookie team. In 26 games, she recorded 3 goals, with 2 being game-winners, 12 assists (11th) for 15 points and was a +16 (16th).
Chris Baudo earns his fifth UCHC Coaching of the Year honor and third straight recognition. The Golden Flyers had their best record in program history, going undefeated in the regular season at 25-0-1 and are currently ranked #3 nationally, the highest ever in program history. Nazareth led the UCHC in goals for (121) and goals against (28) as they look to earn their fifth-straight league championship on Saturday against Elmira.
