WEBSTER, NY. – The first night of the Empire 8 conference championships took place on Wednesday, and the Nazareth women's swimming and diving team finds themselves in 4th place. They've accumulated 93 points thus far through four events, only 13 points out of the top 3.

• Senior Emily LeFrois-Heath finished in 3rd place in the 200 Yard Individual Medley with a finals time of 2:11.65
• Senior Peyton Buell also swam in the 200 IM finals, where she placed 7th with a time of 2:17.09
• Junior Ellen Burroughs took 6th place in the 500 Yard Freestyle finals with a time of 5:18.46
• Taking 4th place in the 400 Yard Medley Relay was a team of Ellen Burroughs, Peyton Buell, Emily LeFrois-Heath, and Alexis Eisler. They clocked a time of 4:06.59

The Golden Flyers will continue to compete in the Empire 8 conference championships on Thursday, February 19th and continuing through Saturday the 21st.
