Rochester, N.Y. – Nazareth's women's swimming and diving team celebrated their seniors on Saturday, as they hosted the Penn State Behrend Nittany Lions for an out-of-conference affair. The Golden Flyers came short, falling by a score of 157-125.

The 200m Medley Relay team of Ellen Burroughs, Peyton Buell, Emily LeFrois-Heath and Alexis Eisler made history, becoming the fastest women's relay team in Nazareth University History for short course meters, recording a time of 2:03.85. They bested the previous record (set in 2018) of 2:04.12 while also managing to beat a surging PSB team by .01 seconds

Ellen Burroughs was a three-time winner on the day, claiming victories in the 200m Freestyle (2:17.6), the 50m Freestyle (28.62), and the 400m Freestyle (4:46.34)

Peyton Buell was runner-up in each of her events, finishing with times of 1:12.98 (100m Backstroke), 2:35.82 (200m Backstroke), and 1:12.7 (100m IM)
What's Next
The Golden Flyers' scheduled meet on Sunday, January 25th at the Dick Comanzo Diving Invitational was canceled due to inclement weather. They will gear up for the Empire 8 Conference Championships beginning on Wednesday, February 18th and running through Saturday, February 21st.
