Brockport, N.Y. – Nazareth's men's swimming and diving team suffered a loss to in-conference opponent SUNY Brockport. The score of the event was 195-53 for the Golden Eagles. The meet was run in Long Course Meters (LCM).
How It Happened

Junior Gianluca Antonini won both the 200 (218.04) and 400 (4:47.85) meter Freestyles, and he also managed a 2nd place finish in the 200 IM (2:44.02)

Sophomore David Martin took 2nd place in the 50 Breaststroke (35.28)and 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke (1:21.07)

Senior Sam Romanosky followed just behind Martin in both the 50 Breaststroke (35.66) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:21.80), turning in 3rd and 4th place finishes respectively

Senior Alex Baxter took 3rd position in the 100 Freestyle, with a time of 1:02.52

Nazareth's 200 Freestyle Relay team took 4th place, with a time of 1:52.11. The team was composed of Martin, Baxter, Romanosky and Antonini
- The 200 Medley Relay team also finished in 4th place, finishing in 2:09.58. This event was swam by junior Solomon Panayil, Romanosky, Martin, and junior Aiden Wilken
What's Next
The Golden Flyers will return to the swimming pool on Friday, January 9th at 10am (diving) and 12pm (swimming) to take on Alfred University.
