Thursday Prelim Results l Thursday Finals Results

WEBSTER, NY- The Nazareth University Men's Swimming & Diving team completed day 2 of the Empire 8 championships Thursday evening. After 2 days of competition, the Golden Flyers have accumulated 92 points and sit in 5th place heading into day 3. 
 
The Standings:

How it Happened:

• First year William Maxfield highlighted the day, taking 7^th place in the 100-yard butterfly in 53.89. He improved upon his prelim time of 54.22.
• Gianluca Antonini placed 2^nd in the 200 yard Freestyle consolation finals (10^th overall) recording a time of 1:48.32 and earning his team 7 points.
• A team of Alexander Baxter, Sam Romanosky, Solomon Panayil, and Aidan Wilken competed in the championship finals of the 200-yard freestyle relay, placing 5^th and scoring 28 points ( 1:31.04).
• David Martin was 12^th overall in the 400-yard IM (4:49.75).

The Golden Flyers will move on to day 3 of the Empire 8 championships on Friday, February 20th at the Webster Aquatics Center in Webster, NY.
