HILTON, NY (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Men's Volleyball senior setter AJ Burda earned Empire 8 Player of the Week honors while freshman right side Sean Frawley took home a Rookie of the Week nod, the conference announced Monday afternoon. 

Burda led the Golden Flyers to a 2-0 weekend and a .354 hitting percentage with 92 assists, nine digs, six kills, one block and one ace. The senior tallied a season-high 51 assists and seven digs in a five-set win over Eastern before collecting 41 assists in a 3-0 sweep of Wilkes Sunday afternoon. 

Frawley registered 25 points, 23 kills at a .365 clip, 15 digs and two service aces in two wins for Nazareth on Sunday. The freshman posted 12 points, 10 kills at .320, eight digs and two aces in five-set win over Eastern before leading Nazareth with 13 kills at .409, seven digs and 13 points in 3-0 victory over Wilkes.
