Rochester, N.Y. – Nazareth's women's Swimming and Diving team managed a competitive win over Alfred University; 151-125. 

How It Happened

• Senior Emily LeFrois-Heath came out on top in all three of her individual events. She turned in impressive times in the 50m Freestyle (29.45), the 100m Freestyle (1:04.15), and in the 50m Butterfly (30.99). Her performances were instrumental in procuring a Golden Flyers Victory

• Freshman Hannah Kolakowski also put on a show on Friday, winning both of her diving events. She received scores of 228.95 in the 1m dive and 224.3 in the 3m dive, being the only diver to cross the 200 mark on the women' s side

• Sophomore Alexis Eisler took first place in the 200m Freestyle, clocking a time of 2:20.63 and adding 9 more points to Nazareth's total. Eisler managed to add more points by finishing second in other individual event; the 100m Butterfly (1:22.01)

• Junior Ellen Burroughs added to the list of victorious Golden Flyers, as she won the 400m Freestyle event with a time of 4:56.39 (over 20 seconds faster than 2nd place). She also took 2nd place in the 100m Backstroke (1:12.12)

• Sophomore Kate Millson finished in 2nd position in three events; the 50m Breaststroke (39.43), the 100m Breaststroke (1:25.36), and the 200m IM (2:49.05)

• Nazareth swam two winning relay teams that helped propel them to the win. The 200m Freestyle Relay team of Burroughs, LeFrois-Heath, Eisler, and sophomore Molly Marshall finished in 2:00.54, while the 200m Medley Relay team of Burroughs, Eisler, Milson, and freshman Ava Tyler finished in 2:12.33.

What's Next

The Golden Flyers will be back in the water to continue their winter training in Florida before they return for the Spring semester.
