HILTON, N.Y. (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Men's Soccer freshman
Bryan Tirado earned his second Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week honor this fall, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Tirado tallied 13 saves in two games for the Golden Flyers last week, including a 1-0 shutout win over Hartwick to start Empire 8 play. The freshman leads the conference with a .882 saves percentage and .500 shoutouts per game. Tirado also sits in second with a .667 goals against average.
Men's Soccer continues Empire 8 action at home against Alfred, Wednesday. Sept. 24. Start time is slated for 4 p.m. at Golden Flyer Stadium and on Empire 8 Network.
