LEBANON, PA – Sophomore
Lincoln Crosby claimed the individual title and the Nazareth men's team finished second at the Empire 8 Championships following round 4 at Lebanon Country Club on Saturday. With winning the individual title, Crosby is the Empire 8 Men's Golf Player of the Year. In addition, the second place finish is Nazareth's highest finish in the Empire 8 Championship since 2007-08, when it also finished second.

Heading into the day, Crosby was tied for the lead with Fisher's Nick Tellone at +11 over three rounds. The junior shot the low round of the day by four shots, with a 75 (+3), fueled by a strong front 9 in which he was -2. In all, Crosby shot a 302 (+14) and was the only Empire 8 golfer with four rounds in the 70s. In winning the championship and earning Empire 8 Player of the Year award, Crosby is the first golfer at Nazareth to do so since Brian Seeley in 2003-04.
Anthony Falgiatano finished tied for 7
th in the tournament after a 4-round total of 322 (+34). He shot an 82 (+10) on Saturday.
Charlie Calcagni improved seven strokes from his round 3 with an 81 (+9) on Saturday. The freshman finished with a 323 (+35). He and Falgiatano earned second team all-conference.
Vincent Falgiatano earned third team all-conference after totaling a 328 (+40).
Thomas McIntosh finished tied for 20
th at 338 (+50).
The men's team will be back in action on Monday, hosting the Nazareth Spring Invite at Irondequoit Country Club.
