ROCHESTER, NY – Graduate student
Quinn McKercher netted four goals as Nazareth fell 18-6 to #2 RIT on Wednesday in non-conference action.
Nazareth is now 1-2 on the year and RIT moves to 3-0.
The Tigers scored the first five goals of the game. Nazareth's
Alex Garrow netted the first goal nearly two minutes into the second quarter, followed by McKercher's first of the day.
It was 10-2 at the half.
McKercher scored in the extra-man from
Owen Riley to make it 13-3 and added two unassisted goals late in the third to make it 15-5.
Matthew Farrington scored the final goal of the game from Riley.
McLean Ralston played three quarters, making seven saves and allowing 15 goals.
Andrew Adams,
Zac Isaac and
Colin Perks all got action in the fourth quarter.
Nazareth hosts Clarkson on Saturday at 2 p.m.
