Empire 8 Weekly Awards Release

ROCHESTER, NY - Madalyn Kelly has been named Empire 8's Player of the Week for the second week in a row after clutch performances in two big games last week.

In the last regular season game of the year on Tuesday, the Golden Flyers defeated St. John Fisher 74-53. Kelly put up 14 points on 6-11 from the field while also grabbing seven rebounds, dishing out three assists and adding one block and one steal.

In the win over Russell Sage in the first round of playoffs, Kelly led the team with 18 points on 8-11 from the field and 2-3 from the arc. She also grabbed six rebounds, had four assists, and added two steals.

Kelly and the rest of the Golden Flyers will be back in action on Wednesday February 26 in the Empire 8 semifinal round of playoffs as they head to number one SUNY Brockport.
