Women's Volleyball Takes Two Against Johnson & Wales and SUNY Canton

ROCHESTER, NY – The Nazareth women's volleyball team delivered a pair of victories at Kidera Gymnasium on Saturday, dropping Johnson and Wales in four sets, before sweeping SUNY Canton.

Nazareth is now 5-8 overall.
 
Vs Johnson and Wales - W, 3-1 (25-16, 17-25, 25-20, 25-26)
Senior Tessa Grover registered 15 kills on a nearly .400 hitting percentage with 11 assists and 12 digs for her first triple double of the season.
 
Freshman Alana Lucey had a career-high nine kills on a .667 hitting percentage.
 
Jenna Mattison was responsible for 10 digs, while Ella Kules led with 24 assists.
 
Vs SUNY Canton - W, 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-21)
Grover once again led Nazareth with 10 kills, paired with 12 assists and eight digs.
 
Ella Kules had 15 assists. Kules, Grover and Mattison each had three service aces in the win.
 
Leah Fusilli was good for eight kills and 11 digs.
 
Nazareth returns to action on Friday, traveling to Geneseo on Friday for an Empire 8 matchup at 6 p.m.
