PENFIELD, NY – The Nazareth men's golf team broke its day-one tie with Hobart to take second place on Monday at the St. John Fisher Invitational on Sunday at Eagle Vale Golf Club. Graduate Student
Anthony Falgiatano was Nazareth's top finisher in sixth place at +8 for the tournament after shooting a 77 (+5) on Monday.
St. John Fisher was the overall champion with a total of 598 (+22), followed by Nazareth at 619 (+43), Hobart at 627 (+51), and Oswego at 647 (+71).
The best Golden Flyer round of the day came from freshman
Charlie Calcagni who carded a 76 (+4), an improvement of six strokes from day one. He finished in a tie for 13
th place.
Sophomore
Lincoln Crosby had an improvement of two strokes on day two, carding a 77 (+5) for a two day total of 156, good for a tie for ninth place.
Nazareth's other scorer on Monday was
Thomas McIntosh who shot an 80 (+8). He finished +13 for 12
thplace.
Vincent Falgiatano was 18
th place with a two day total of 162 (+18).
Nazareth will have its third-straight day of competition on Tuesday, traveling to Keuka at 10 a.m.
