ROCHESTER, NY – The Nazareth men's tennis team suffered a 7-0 non-conference defeat to RIT on Saturday afternoon at the Annette Shapiro Tennis Courts.
Nazareth is now 1-1 on the season, while RIT moves to 1-0.
Nazareth dropped all three doubles matches with
Noah Britton and
Chris Benedict having the closest contest, falling 6-3 at second doubles.
Pierre Ntonga fell at third single 6-2, 6-4.
James Hawkins took his opponent at sixth singles to three sets eventually falling 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7).
Nazareth returns to action on Thursday, traveling to Penn State Behrend for a 4 p.m. contest.
