Max Funiciello,
Pierre Ntonga, and
Enoch Li each took care of both their singles and doubles matches on Tuesday to help Nazareth defeat Penn State Behrend 5-2 in non-conference action.
Nazareth is now 2-1 on the season, while Penn State Behrend is 1-2.
Nazareth took two of three doubles matches to earn the lone point. Funiciello and
Griffin Bond won first singles 6-4. Ntonga and Li won third doubles 6-4.
Funiciello took second singles 7-6 (8-6), 6-3, while Ntonga won third singles 6-2, 6-4.
Li was a winner at fifth singles 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) and
James Hawkins won sixth singles 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7).
Nazareth returns to action on Tuesday, hosting Daemen at 4 p.m.
