Top 100 Moment: 2017 - Men's lacrosse wins consecutive overtime games over Ithaca and Stevens to win Empire 8 Championship

ROCHESTER, NY - The third-seeded men's lacrosse team went on the road twice to defeat Ithaca 14-13 and Stevens 11-10, both in overtime, to hoist the 2017 Empire 8 Championship.

Nazareth outscored Ithaca 10-5 to mount the come-from-behind victory over the Bombers, capped by Luke Longo scoring the game-winning goal just 19 seconds into the overtime.

In the finals against top-seeded Stevens, sophomore Anthony Basille netted the winning goal with 1:44 remaining in overtime to lift Nazareth. The championship was Nazareth's 10th conference title and marked the 22nd NCAA Tournament appearance.

A key cog to Nazareth's championship run was face-off specialist Seth DeLisle who won 44-of-55 face-offs over the two games.
