ROCHESTER, NY – The Nazareth Dance Team will host the 14th Annual Showcase event Sunday in Kidera Gymnasium starting at 11 a.m. featuring performances from the entire team and a special performance from the five seniors on the squad.

The non-competitive event is designed to feature the talented dancers and choreographers from the team. The event will showcase different dance styles and types of dances. The team will branch out from the typical routines seen at basketball games and in competition throughout the year. The styles will consist of tap, contemporary, jazz, lyrical and hip hop.

There will be 26 numbers in total with some group dances, duets, and solos.

The event is free entry for all, however each year, the show collects optional donations for a cause chosen by the team. This year the team decided to fundraise for the Wilmot Cancer Institute in honor of former Nazareth athlete and student Mya Maloof.
