Kaleb Luton finished 11
th in the 60-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division III Men's Track and Field Championships on Friday at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, VA. With the 11th-place finish, Luton earns Second Team All-American status.
Luton clocked an 8.15 in the prelims which was not quite fast enough to earn him a spot in the finals. Luton, who was in the first of three heats, held the eighth and final spot for the finals until the final heat.
Luton improved upon his other trip to the NCAAs in the 2021-22 when he finished 19
th in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.63.
The Amherst, NY native qualified for the NCAAs after ripping off a conference, school, and facility record at the Empire 8 Championships with a time of 8.01 at Houghton University on February 23.
